Our client is a global and leading Corporate & Investment Bank Description Exciting opportunity for a Director - Financial Institutions Coverage Turkey, CIS and CEE with a leading Corporate and Investment Bank. London This role will be responsible forthe Financial Institutions sector ("FI sector") portfolio including but not limited to commercial banks, state-owned banks, central banks, non-bank FIs, multilaterals and sovereign wealth funds in emerging market in EMEA with the key focus on Turkey, CIS andCEE, working alongside regional and London marketing teams, 1) to originate and execute a wide range of transactions and products offered by the Bank and other relevant group entities, such as deposits, loans, structured finance, DCM, FX and derivatives, 2)to analyse the various risk including the market and credit risk of the FI sector and customers, and maintain the credit quality of the client portfolio under own coverage and 3) to further strengthen the relationship with emerging market FI (EM FI) clients.This role will also strategically support and/or work with the other marketing groups of the department covering FI sector in EMEA emerging market including Middle East Department (covering GCC countries and Egypt), by leveraging the experience and knowledgeas FI sector specialist in terms of the in-depth sensitivity analysis of financials and financial advisory solution related to optimal funding, FX/Interest risk management and regulatory capital etc. The role of Director exists to lead the marketing activities,origination of new business, execution of transactions and to provide strategic and business development support to senior management in delivering the team, unit and departments budget and objectives in the assigned scope. The role may require line managementof junior staff and will definitely involve the management of multiple transaction teams in challenging and high-pressured situations also with the tight deadlines The role also requires strong communication skills as there will be various interfaces bothwithin the wider organisation (marketing & support departments), across EMEA and globally as well as externally including the client marketing, at the most senior level. Good knowledge of financial institutioncustomers and clients for marketing purposes and the ability to work with and understand customer needs - the role would be expected to have its own network of customers and other industry players. Good understanding and much experience of credit and financialanalysis for financial institutions. A significant element of leadership experience for transactions and of managing junior staff. Previous experience of working in corporate finance in EM FI sector in a relevant institution (bank, advisor, industry etc).The ability to work on multiple tasks in parallel under pressure and to time constraints with significant changes. The ability to work well with colleagues in multiple roles and at most levels of seniority across EMEA and other regions.
