Job Description

Were hiring!We are currently recruiting for a Director ECG to join our team.Responsible for working alongside ECG teams build an infrastructure to support the development of an Industry lens across ECG. Do so working closely with Regions, Advisory, Growth Operations team, Finance, and ECG leadership team. Advanced analytical, projectmanagement & communication skills are critical, as well as ability to run projects independently.Key accountabilities

  • Supports Industry Client Leaders & Regional Industry groups with an aligned agenda to drive revenue growth in the respective markets. This may extend to coordination Of Regional Industry Steering groups, building of Knowledge hubs etc.
  • Oversight and input into Enterprise Clients in the Vertical and new business opportunities
  • Builds a strategy and carries out the plan to support ECLs with content and expertise to accelerate closure of largest opportunities
  • Working with MarComm develops and implements an industry marketing plan that uses key events e.g. insight series with support of Marketing team
  • Responsible for creating cross solution line industry insight, innovation and thought leadership - e.g. top issues effecting CHROS, CFO, CRO and RM
  • Oversight and input into the ECG groups largest clients and new business opportunities
  • Contributes to innovation workstreams focusing on future risks and unmet industry needs
  • Implement, monitor and ABS manage ongoing performance metrics & KPIs across ECG Industry, partnering with Growth Ops & finance teams
Your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
  • Relationship capital: Builds and maintains deep client relationships at the executive level across the organization, and uses that capital to understand objectives, influence team thinking, and create results
  • Strategy alignment: Fully understands the ECG strategy, environment and the strategic positioning of the segment; able to connect ECG strategy to all Aon capabilities
  • Consulting skills: Identifies client needs and clearly articulates the problem to be solved; recognizes challenges and barriers to solving them and assembles internal resources to achieve the desired client outcome
  • Financial acumen: Builds strong financial foundation to analysis and decision making and is adept in discussing this stakeholders
  • Effective communication: Listens and communicates with a client-centric, strategic focus and adapts communication when appropriate; clearly articulates client needs and action items internally; builds consensus within Aon and client organization
  • Team management: Strong influencing skills; ensures progress for all projects and creates alignment of internal teams on related workstreams.
  • Extensive industry, consulting, relevant experience with complex, global client management
