Job Description With the ongoing expansion of our business, we are hiring a Director to support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Network Capacity Delivery. The Director of Infrastructure Delivery - Network and Data Center, will lead a team of TechnicalProgram Managers responsible for network and data center capacity builds to support the growth of Oracle Cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate can manage fast paced delivery while leveraging their proven leadership and program management capabilities.This is a high impact role that will lead a highly motivated team through the end-to-end lifecycle required to successfully deliver the next generation of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Our team ensures the on time, on budget and on schedule delivery inclusiveof facility tenant improvements, data hall construction, network augmentations and data center fit out through general availability. Some key detailed team accountabilities include tracking financials, bid analysis, contract negotiations, award of contracts,purchasing and tracking materials as well as overseeing the onsite construction/fit out work. The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to dive deep on network and infrastructure build issues, oversee construction management and manage delivery; they canalso inspire and nurture a distributed team, demonstrate system level thinking and drive process improvements as well as support their team throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities Day-to-day you can expect the following: Manage a diverse team ofTechnical Program Managers; coaching, mentoring, and leading the team while providing opportunities for career growth Provide program and project management expertise to complex business initiatives that are regional in nature, understanding dependencies andaccounting for complexity relative to scope/schedule and budgets Develop partnerships with vendors and distributors and identify opportunities to improve purchasing and delivery timelines Build relationships and collaborate globally with stakeholders and partnersto deliver outcomes across the organization, ensuring a shared understanding of progress and performance Seek opportunities to bring about ongoing improvement and simplification in business operating procedures and practices leading to improved effectivenessof the organization Track and manage priorities and committed actions to drive progress and provide actionable insights. Travel up to 25% in support of datacenter builds What Youll Bring: Bachelors degree in Technology, Project Management, Construction Managementor proven technical equivalent experience. 10+ years of experience directly managing, mentoring, and leading a team 6+ years of experience with outside vendor management, stakeholder relationship management, and delivering complex technology projects Experiencewith varying scenarios of data center construction, infrastructure builds and network augmentations. Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e., network, data center, hardware, mechanical and electrical systems)Ability to inspire confidence in executive leaders and motivate team members Experience leading through ambiguity; proven track record of implementing solutions that improve delivery Excellent communication skills including high quality written communicationsand the ability to articulate complex information in a simple way Outstanding cross-group collaboration skills and proven ability to partner across teams Program/project management certifications or qualifications with proven ability to deliver complex programsAbout Us An Oracle career can span industries, roles, Countries and cultures, giving you the opportunity to flourish in new roles and innovate, while blending work life in.
