Job Description

A key role within a growing Advisory & Consulting business, with current client portfolio consisting of large-mulinationals, FTSE 100 and International groups. The role will require candidates working remotely, as well as out of client offices within the City of London.The opportunity would suit strong Directors within the Big4/Mid Tier firms, who are looking to be part of a reputable firm offering a strong work life balance approach, whilst removing the corporate layers in order to make decisions quickly.As a key member of the firm with a hands on approach to leading and delivering technical accounting advisory & consulting services, you will play a key part in supporting the Partner (Ex-Big4 Director) on its continued growth trajectory.Responsibilty overview:

  • Support the Partner in leading engagements and delivering growth
  • Generating opportunities, delivering new revenues and developing long-term trusted advisor relationships with clients
  • Delivering firms significant growth objectives by leading the development of key new market initiatives, propositions & offerings. and taking these out to the client
  • Leading delivery of technical accounting support to clients across a number of engagements including:
  • Implementing new accounting standards
  • Supporting clients on accounting remediation projects
  • Deal support (including Class 1 transactions & IPO readiness)
  • Advising clients on GAAP conversions
  • Developing accounting policies, procedures and controls
  • Post deal accounting support including clients adopting new GAAP, transaction accounting and setting up accounting processes post deal
  • Ability to both hands-on deliver and oversee engagements to meet deadlines and budgets
  • Developing and supporting the Firms client-facing team (Ex-Big4 candidates)
    • Requirements:
  • ACA or ACCA or equivalent overseas qualification
  • Significant experience as a Director providing clients a range of Accounting Advisory & Consulting Services
  • Proven track record in business development, developing client relationships and delivering revenue growth
  • Confident, hands-on, self motivated individual looking to make more of a direct impact on the overall position of a business
