Digital Xray Field Service EngineerSalary: £25k to £32k dependent on experienceBenefits: 20 days holiday + bank holidays, Pension scheme, vehicle, laptop, phoneHours: Full time, PermanentLocation: North of London Based – to work throughout the surrounding areasOur client are the UKs leading independent specialists in digital x-ray and intraoral camera equipment. Due to continued success they are currently looking for dynamic, motivated individuals to join their expanding team. Training will be provided both in-house and with suppliers, some of which may be carried out abroad.The appointed candidate will be responsible for Installing, maintaining and troubleshooting of digital dental x-ray equipment in private clinics and major hospitals in the UK.The work will require efficient planning and involves frequent overnight stays. Whilst the majority of the work involves working at the customer site individually, the successful candidate must also communicate effectively with customers and the larger team to produce a total solution.Duties Include:· Installation & commissioning of computer controlled, digital x-ray and CT equipment· Maintaining & servicing of equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable and compliant· Inspecting, testing, evaluating, fault finding, repairs and re-testing if needed· Providing technical advice and support to end users· Nationwide travel to customers, involving frequent overnight stays· Good time management, organisational skills and use of own initiative· Positive and proactive outlook· Completing reports and communicating essential information to administrative team· Undertaking relevant training for equipment· Analysing and interpreting data· Provide telephone and remote support to customers using remote access software· Keep equipment operational by following the manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures for preventive and corrective maintenance· Liaise with administration team to ensure all stock has been ordered and received in good time prior to installations· Organise Critical Examinations with outside agencies, as required, check reports before signing and forwarding to customer· Assist sales team in promoting and creating Service and Support Plan quotations for new and existing customers· Maintain clean and organised stockroom & engineers’ workshop· Attend all Training Courses when required for compliance· Provide support at exhibitions and other areas of the business· Liaise with suppliers for advanced support when required· Attendance to Shoreham-by-sea Head Office when requiredThe Ideal Candidate:· Experience within a similar Electronic Engineering Role is essential· Be competent working with a range of mechanical and electronic tools· Knowledge or experience of electronics or IT/networking are an advantage· Practically minded, with an aptitude and interest to learn new skills· Have good team working skills, commercial awareness and interpersonal skills· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Full UK Driving Licence· Eligible to work in the UKNew candidates should have at least one of the three:· IT experience/qualifications· X-rays experience/qualifications· Dental field (sector) experienceIf you feel you are the ideal Candidate APPLY today!Keywords: Electrical Engineer, Engineer, Engineering Vacancies, Electrical Engineer, Installation Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Technician, Electronic, Components Engineer, X-Ray Engineer, Field Service Engineer.
