Job Description

Rutherford Briant are currently recruiting for a Digital Marketing Manager on a 12-month fixed term maternity contract for a leading Accountancy Firm.Our client prides themselves on having an informal and inclusive culture, which is an ideal business environment for ambitious talent to develop exciting, challenging and rewarding careers,They offer beautiful modern offices, easily accessible by multiple London Underground Tube stations, the closest being St Pauls and Mansion House.The role is currently hybrid, with the opportunity to work 2 days from home, 3 days in the office, with a £25 per month working from home allowance. On top of this, there is flexibility around the working hours of 10am-4pm.The basic salary on offer is £50,000 - £60,000, as well as the opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus.There are fantastic benefits on offer which include 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), private medical insurance and life assurance to cover four times annual salary.Reporting directly into the Marketing Director, the role is part of the Central Marketing Team and is pivotal in supporting the firms digital ambitions. The individual will be involved in planning, producing and delivering engaging content across digitalchannels, developing digital marketing campaigns that enable communication with key audiences, drive engagement and increase/amplify the reach of their insights.Example duties for this Digital Marketing Manager are:The roleWebsite

  • Maintaining relationships internally with key stakeholders: providing insightful reporting/analysis to National Practice Groups and other stakeholders as required.
  • Working with other areas of the business to educate and train marketing staff on website best practice and use of the WordPress CMS.
  • Working closely with other members of the team to plan, generate and publish accurate and engaging optimised content for the firms website.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of the website and ensuring all design and technical issues are identified and rectified in a timely manner.
  • Overseeing and managing ongoing day-to-day admin of the website, including updating and coordinating publication of articles, events, press releases, vacancies, bios etc.
  • Implementing an SEO strategy, including keyword research, link analysis, technical audits and SEO copywriting.
Social media
  • Management of the firms social media channels and reporting on analytics.
Email marketing campaigns
  • Advising on and creating email campaigns via the DotDigital platform.
  • Managing the on-going relationship with our email marketing service provider.
General
  • Writing and proofreading website copy as required.
  • Working with National Practice Groups and offices to identify and develop their digital marketing activity.
  • Actively monitoring competitor marketing activity and keeping abreast of digital trends.
