It will not be seen by those involved in making decisions as part of the recruitment process.Pearson offers hybrid remote/office working.Position overviewAs Digital Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for supporting the ongoing development and performance of the International Schools website and integrated digital channels that serve Pearsons international schools customer markets within the PearsonSchools Qualifications (PSQ) business unit.You will work within the International Schools marketing team to publish consistent, high-quality digital content and to ensure customer journeys are optimised across the website and supporting digital channels to meet our business and customer needs. Inthis work, you will receive, interpret and action content and functionality requests via our content management system and will use a variety of other digital tools and applications to support our digital marketing growth.Main responsibilitiesIn this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for the high-quality and timely implementation of web, social and blog content updates to support the international schools digital channel strategy.
  • Create and edit web and blog pages using standardised page templates, layout containers, components and experiences (for desktop, mobile and tablet devices), to meet our international school stakeholder needs.
  • Build and maintain web forms (using Form Assembly platform) to support our lead generation and brand marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain effective content workflow management, systems and processes to ensure a consistently timely delivery of completed web, blog and social requests.
  • Lead on and perform troubleshooting and remediation of website and blog break fixes as needed.
  • Ensure that all website, blog and social content follows Pearsons established style and procedures and maintains a consistent brand profile and messaging.
  • Drive digital best practice within the international schools marketing team and be a champion for excellence in our online customer experience and across all international digital channels.
  • Work in partnership with the international schools marketing team, product teams, technology and UX/UI teams to ensure web content requests are delivered effectively.
  • Use an insights-focused approach to help build web engagement and support our lead generation, advocacy, and loyalty objectives.
  • Report website analytics, campaign data and social performance across our digital channels, in order to monitor progress against objectives and identify trends and insights that will drive performance improvements and help maximise efficiencies.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of new technologies and best practice in web and other digital technologies, design principle, SEO, analytics and other related digital marketing fields.
  • Support the medium and long-term delivery of the international schools website roadmap.
QualificationsRequirements
  • Experience with content management systems and related tools and platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, Sitecore, SEMrush, Form Assembly) is highly desirable although training will be given.
  • Good understanding of best practice editorial and technical SEO.
  • Good understanding of and a clear passion for UX and web content design.
  • Experience with Google Analytics / Data Studio 360
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web technologies
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop or similar image manipulation packages
  • Excellent web copywriting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Understanding of digital marketing campaigns and customer journeys
Essential skills and experience
  • Good project management skills
  • Strong organisation skills, with the ability to work effectively on multiple projects at once
  • An excellent editor, with good spelling and grammar, and an eye for detail.
  • Comfortable with web analytics, keyword strategies, usability and design
  • Computer literate with excellent knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
