DevOps Engineer - AWS - Linux DevOps Engineer - requirement for an urgent start. The DevOps Engineer will be working for a retail client. Key Skills: In depth knowledge of Linux system administration experience Experience running large-scale web applications on modern platforms Monitoring and alerting tools, technologies and best practices using software such as AppDynamics, DataLoop, Pingdom and PagerDuty Solid Scripting and programming skills Youll have working knowledge of any of the well-known configuration management tools - AWS CloudFormation and Ansible for preference! Youll never allow local optimisation to create global degradation. You always want to understand and respond to all customers, internal and external, shortening and amplifying all feedback loops between them and yourself, and embedding knowledge where we need it. DevOps Engineer - Nice To Have Skills: Knowledge of Linux internals (Ubuntu. RHEL, CentOs, etc), networking, storage, monitoring, etc Java application hosting include WebSphere In-depth knowledge of AWS services including CloudFormation, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Lambda Continuous Integration with Jenkins Source control with Git/Bitbucket Atlassian Products including JIRA and Confluence Application Performance Management with AppDynamics APM DevOps Engineer - Cloudformation - AWS - Ansible Bonus Skills: Ansible, Chef or Puppet Other Cloud providers such as Azure, or private cloud with OpenStack Hashicorp tools such as Vagrant, Terraform, Consul etc Exposure to Docker and containers Required skills
