DevOps Leader (Platform team)Based: High Wycombe, London or fully remote (UK only)Term: Full-time, PermanentSalary: Competitive, dependent on experienceWe are looking to employ a "Dev Ops Leader" to join the Focusrite Group. You will work with and empower the development teams to deliver fist class audio products. By providing the platform and tools required to build, deploy and monitor our software stack, you will help bring confidence that our products can scale to our growing global customer base.Using your strong leadership skills, you will work closely with stakeholders and drive the adoption of best practices, consistency across projects and platforms. You will ensure infrastructure changes are predictable, repeatable and reproducible through the continued adoption of infrastructure as code. To reduce dependencies between teams reliant on infrastructure, you will help teams self-serve their own code deployments.To achieve this, you will be leading a small team (2) of DevOps Engineers & will have the opportunity to help define the technical strategy of the organisation.An ideal candidate will have experience in:

Setting up and scaling infrastructures for high availability on top of cloud PaaS (AWS/GCP/Azure or similar)

Git and branching strategies

Production experience of setting up CI/CD pipelines

IaC implementation ideally using Terraform

Deploying containers and using container orchestration tools (Docker/Kubernetes/ECS)

Working with logging and monitoring solutions (ELK/Logstash/Splunk/Prometheus)

Deploying microservices (AWS API Gateway/Lambda/Kong/Apigee)

Configuration management tools (e.g Ansible/Puppet)

Scripting languages (e.g. Python/Bash/Ruby)

Database management and optimisation (MySQL/PostgreSQL)

Implementing security by design

Ability to perform root cause analysis across the technology stack

Experience of some of the following would also be beneficial:

Integration of third party services such as Adyen, Recurly, SalesForce or Netsuite

Administration of continuous integration systems (e.g. Jenkins, Circle CI)

Artefact management systems (e.g. Artifactory)

VMware ESXi Automation

Windows and macOS troubleshooting

Code signing on the above platforms
