Job Description

DevOps Engineer | Senior DevOps Engineer | AWS | CICD piplelines | Terraform | Ansible | Docker | KubernetesPermanent - £85,000 - £90,000Are you looking to work with one of the largest AWS users in Euroupe Then look no further! I have partnered with one of the most exciting businesses in the UK, who have gone from strength to strength as they have leveraged the importance of their online platform to millions during the current pandemic.The senior DevOps engineer will work within a team of 6, supporting the internal team who are spread internationally on the internal PaaS side of the business. As the Senior DevOps engineer on site, you will be responsible for supporting the function using a wide variety of tool, building CICD pipelines, encouraging best practice and a transition to more inclusive use of Kubernetes and automating wherever possible!As a senior DevOps engineer, the standards are high. You will need to be confident working at senior/ principal level, with an ability to justify your tooling, mentor junior members of staff, influence change and add continued value to the organisation as the continue to scale at a rapid pace.Key Skills:

  • Strong experience in AWS cloud environments
  • Experience building CICD pipelines from scratch and deploying using Jenkins
  • Good experience with Terraform and Ansible
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Ability to work effectively in an agile team
  • Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders at a variety of levels
    • The role will follow a 2 stage process, which will be a mixture of technical whiteboarding, as well as further conversations that delve in to the suitability of the candidate culturally.
