Job Description

Devops Engineer - £70,000 - £120,000 (Remote)A leading software company in the logistics industry is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Linux, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Azure, AWS, GitLab, and Python. They are big on automation and believe in the principles of Infrastructureas Code. If you share this passion, Id love to hear from you!Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement infrastructure automation using Terraform and Kubernetes
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of their cloud-based infrastructure on Azure and AWS
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of their applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
  • Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve infrastructure and operations
Key Job Requirements:
  • Strong experience with Linux, Kubernetes, and Helm
  • In-depth knowledge of Terraform and cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
  • Ideally some programming skills in Python
  • Extensive experience with GitLab and Git for CI/CD pipeline management
  • A strong belief in the principles of Infrastructure as Code and automation
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
