Job Description

What youll doAs a DevOps Engineer, youll be evaluating architecture choices on an ongoing basis, in anticipation of increased scale and ever-evolving technology to meet the demands of a rapidly growing business. Youll also be:
  • Managing and running production and non-production cloud platforms with no downtime to customers or colleagues
  • Establishing a DevOps practice that supports and enables engineers and the business
  • Deploying scalable cloud based AWS services
  • Responsible for automation and system provisioning, metrics, monitoring, scalability and security
  • Promoting what we do to the wider bank and technology industry
The skills youll needWere looking for someone with deep knowledge of continuous integration and delivery tooling such as GitLab, AWS services, Containers and Terraform. Youll also demonstrate:
  • Extensive experience in implementing scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available AWS architectures using services like Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancing, and Multi-AZ deployments, based on Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Extensive experience with DevOps methodologies and tools, such as, version control systems, continuous integration tools including, Gitlab and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with containerization technologies like EKS
