Our client, Live Music Now, makes an enormous impact on the lives of vulnerable children and adults, throughout the UK, by delivering around 3,500 participatory performances and specialist workshops each year to over 120,000 people, through its musicians who are young professionals at the start of their career.Since its creation in 1977, by Yehudi Menuhin and Sir Ian Stoutzker, the charity has reached over 2.5 million people. As the leading organisation in this field, Live Music Now works regularly at hundreds of schools and care homes each year. However, many vulnerable children and older people still cannot access the transformative benefits of live music. The charity’s vision is to scale up its activities, working with partner organisations, teachers and carers to create long-term sustainable programmes throughout the UK. To achieve this, the Board and Executive Director of LMN are putting in place a step change in its fundraising strategy, alongside a profile-raising strategy.A highly accomplished Development Director is therefore sought to help lead this fundraising strategy.
