Desktop Support LondonWe have an exciting IT Contract for a London Desktop Support Engineer. This is for a 3 month contract but may be extended.This is a site-based contract role but is inside IR35. As a result, this role is suited to umbrella contractors only.Working as a Desktop Support Engineer, you will provide and maintain service continuity for the clients desktop technology and resolve any technical issues that may occur, all within contractual agreements.We are looking for people who are passionate about technology and increasing their existing knowledge, whilst delivering exceptional customer service.A SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:Firstly, you will respond to customer incidents, service requests and manage through to a successful resolutionSecondly, deliver a deskside service to the customer, including hardware break fix and software support for laptops and desktops across the site.Thirdly, maintain desktop devices.Additionally, manage and maintain the configuration and installation of desktops, including patch updates and hardware replacements.Finally, monitor security profiles and anti-virus software on all Desktop Devices.
