Job Description

The Desktop Support Analyst is critical to making this happen, and its purpose is to provide IT support for Europe and the US, pertaining to End User Technology (EUT) services onsite at the London ANZ office. The role will provide support up to an executivelevel, be involved in project improvement initiatives around end user technology, for example Branch and European laptop upgrades, mobility improvements and standardized software deployments. This role with report to the Head of End User Technology for Europe and focused on end user technology and will work with European Institutional business and provide a trusted escalation point that has the business needs at the forefront of their day. What will your day look like

  • Manage all company-owned IT assets provided to end users.
  • Perform IT maintenance tasks and resolve moderate complex problems in accordance with SLA targets; if needed, escalate more complex IT to relevant external or branch level 3 support teams for workaround/resolution; Own and follow up all open issues to closure.
  • Determine and understand business requirements to contribute to the recommendation of new technologies.

  • Knowledge on various IT support tools, ideally ServiceNow
  • Good level of understanding of Client Server operating systems, networking, and Internet technology fundamentals
  • Good exposure to Incident Management, Request management and ITIL service operation concepts
  • Basic knowledge in providing IT Infrastructure Support in a highly productive environment
  • Good knowledge of mobile device administration (Android/iOS) and mobile device management tools
  • Strong working knowledge on Office 365 administration and supporting issues related to Microsoft Office suite
  • Exposure to various Video conferencing solutions such as Microsoft Teams, WebEx, Cisco
  • Analyse and resolve hardware/software/applications-related problems onsite or remotely
  • Support and maintain office IT infrastructure like Laptops, VC Rooms, HUB Rooms
  • Provide remote service and support to colleagues via various channels (phone, email and tickets raised by Self Service Portal, as well as Chat support)
  • Knowledge on O365, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Bit locker Drive Encryption (MBAM), PowerShell, AWS and VPN technologies
  • Hands-on experience or Knowledge Patch Management and deployment technologies like SCCM, WSUS
  • Good understanding on Virtualization technologies such as VMware/vCenter administration is a mandate
  • Good understanding of Active Directory services, and group policy management
  • Knowledge of handling Centralized Monitoring solutions such as SolarWinds Orion
  • Knowledge Administration and Troubleshooting knowledge of Windows client/Servers operating systems, DHCP, DNS
  • Knowledge of SCCM
