Job Description

Design ManagerQueen Elizabeth Hospital Woolwich£200-240 per day

  • VINCI are looking to secure the immediate services of a Design Manager to work within the Projects Team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich to assist with the pre-construction design development and subsequent construction stage activities on multiple Healthcare schemes
  • A majority of the work range in value up to £5m and they currently have schemes which include CT scanner installation, MRI Scanners, Extension to mental health unit, Cath lab refurbishment & Emergency Department refurbishment
  • Experience is required in the following:-
  • Healthcare Experience essential Leading design development process on multiple schemes
  • Ability to chair design team meetings with various stakeholders
  • Communicate design development with various User Groups
  • Good communicator Ability to work in a Team
  • Demonstrate good technical, management and commercial experience
  • Ability to support the Project Management Team on project delivery where required
  • Start ASAP
  • Rate advertised is Ltd/Umbrella, equivalent to approx. £50k per year, but this may be negotiable dependant on experience
  • This is looking to be a temp-perm opportunity for the right individual
  • Subject to finding the right candidate there could be further opportunity working across other parts of the business, if work were to slow down at QEH, e.g. on MOJ etc.
