Audit & Risk Recruitmentare currently working with a FTSE sized business to help recruit a Deputy Head of Internal Audit. As the successful candidate you will have the opportunity to help shape the internal audit strategy, implement qualityassurance frameworks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.The main purpose of the role is to ensure the audit team is providing a high level of service and value to the business and are at the forefront of standards. Reporting into a supportive Head of Audit you will be part of the senior audit leadership teamthat are responsible for developing and implementing a purposeful Internal Audit strategy for the wider business, and are responsible for enhancing the internal control environment. You will also lead the function and deputise for the Head of when they areon leave or if they are away.To be successful you are likely to have held previous senior roles ideally gained in-house and are comfortable having conversations with senior stakeholders across the business. Experience of having developed successful audit strategies would also be beneficialand being able to demonstrate your successes.
