Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and managing a portfolio of Depositary (mainly Alternative) clients. As well as carrying out monitoring, oversight and safekeeping duties in accordance with Compliance procedures,you will assist the Head of Depositary in managing client relationships (including presenting quarterly reports at Fund board meetings) and completing audits. You will have the opportunity to act as the main point of contact for the firms Centre of Excellencein India, including assigning work, reviewing completed work programs and training the team on any new procedures or policies which are introduced. Working with the wider sales team, you will get involved with business development activities including puttingtogether proposal documents and giving pricing proposals and justifications for new prospect clients. Experience required: Substantial experience of working in an administrative role. Experience within a Depositary or fund administration environment wouldbe beneficial, but not essential Working knowledge of AIFMD requirements for Depositaries would be beneficial, but not essential Educated to degree level preferred Ability to work autonomously along with attention to detail and accuracy Effective communicationand interpersonal skills Proficient IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel Educated to degree level - preferred As importantly, you must have effective interpersonal skills, a good client manner, a strong team ethic, and the ambition to progress your careerin this growing business.
