Whatever team youre interested in joining and whatever role you play, well help you to make a difference.On behalf of Royal London, AMS are looking for a Delivery Manager for a 6 Month contract based in London.Purpose of the Role:

  • Owning the delivery of implementation and change to Investment Technology (including Aladdin).
  • Help/supporting the Squad to deliver change in line with business requirements and collaborate and work well together.
  • Working with Product Owner, Relationship managers in RLAM and BlackRock Solutions (BRS) to manage Change pipeline.
Responsibilities of the role:As the Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Agree priorities across teams and escalate risks, issues or concerns
  • Ensure operational teams are kept informed about solutions being implemented
  • Review project plans to ensure that changes are managed and supportable
  • Act in accordance with all expected standards and behaviours and that all solutions have team approval / input
  • Keep commitments - work with teams to address any delays or changes
  • Ensure project constraints are raised or escalated appropriately
  • Support and contribute to the lessons-learned process
  • Document all changes and ensure existing documentation remains current and relevant
  • Manage stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and particular interests
  • Manage conflict - address, resolve or escalate differences between stakeholders
  • Work with the product owner understand product planning in an empirical environment
  • Work with the Product Owner to slice-and-dice and prioritize the Product Backlog to maximize value
  • Ensure the Product Owner Understands and practices agile
What we require from the candidate:
  • Understands and can provide advice and guidance on technical architecture and design according to RLAM strategy and objectives.
  • Can navigating Change governance processes.
  • Good experience with Stakeholder management, agile implementation, front office, Assets, Equity, and middle office outsourced operations.
  • Experience in delivery of implementation and change to Investment Technology (including Aladdin).
  • Flexible and adaptable to different business and technical environments.
  • The role may lead and / or People Manage technical resources comprising internal, contract and supplier resource.
  • Matrix management across multiple disciplines (BAs, developers, testers and technical resources) through to 3rd parties and business SMEs.
  • Scope - covering project and team activities as described in role purpose.
