We are currently partnering with a leading Loyds syndicate who are looking to add a delegated underwriting specialist to their growing team. The successful candidate will take part in the following responsibilities and need the relevant skills. Responsibilitiesof the role Assist the DU Manger in continuous enhancement and implementation of the delegated underwriting governance and oversight framework. Assist the DU Manager in monitoring emerging and developing regulatory changes within the market to identify amendmentsrequired in the DUW existing policies related to delegated underwriting. Review and approval of due diligence information and delegated authority contracts. Coordination of coverholder audits in the DAM system. Review of audit reports and follow-up of auditrecommendations with managed syndicates. Assist in the annual production of the audit schedule for Coverholders and DCAs and maintain a suitable audit panel. Assist in the review of audit reports and follow-up of audit recommendations. Assist in the productionof reports and MI management information for internal meetings and distribution. Administration of Atlas, DCOM and DAM tasks. Assist the DU manager in ongoing projects. Collaborate with other teams such as Underwriting, Finance, Claims and Compliance. Completead hoc tasks as requested by the DU Manager. Provide the business with delegated authority related support. Skills Good interpersonal and written skills that enable the individual to build trust internally, with coverholders and brokers. High ability to quicklydetect process inefficiencies and take initiative to suggest and collaborate with colleagues on finding ways to improve processes and following through with implementation. Effective organisational skills and a proactive outlook in setting and prioritisingwork and meeting deadlines. Attention to detail, excellent due diligence and investigative skills. Ability to work as an effective team member or as an individual, as circumstances dictate.
