Job Description

New Vacancy: Delegated Authority Analyst.Lloyds MGA - City of London.Salary £35,000 - £45,000.I am recruiting exclusively on behalf of a growing Lloyds MGA, who are looking to expand their DA Operations Team. This role will be working directly alongside a knowledgeable and personable Delegated Authority Manager, who will offer training and support.Some knowledge of Delegated Authority is required for this position, as well as experience within Loss Funds. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior level DA professional looking for that next step.Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain an audit log to regularly check and review the performance of Coverholders and Third Party Administrators (TPAs), ensuring completion and reporting of audits.
  • Monitor loss funds to confirm appropriate levels and proper utilization, identifying any over-funding and taking necessary steps to recover owed balances.
  • Manage an "issues log" to accurately track performance issues of Coverholders and Data Collection Agents (DCAs), especially regarding authority, accounting, audit, and late data, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Provide management with performance reports summarizing the performance of Coverholders and TPAs, highlighting areas of concern, and suggesting improvement measures as needed.
  • Conduct quarterly meetings with Delegated and Claims Administrators to oversee their activities, including creating meeting documents and recording minutes.
  • Collaborate with Compliance to gather data for Complaints and Conduct reporting.
  • Support Credit Control by identifying and reconciling premium funds due to the company.
  • Reconcile Bordereaux and manage related filing and follow-ups.
  • Assist in the onboarding process of incoming portfolio transfers and monitor the associated arrangements.
  • Aid in the preparation of Lloyds Part VII submissions for Delegated underwriting and claims.
  • Provide ad hoc data analysis and fulfill data requests from the Delegated team and other departments.
