SEIs Institutional Group provides clients with a variety of solutions aligned with their investment implementation preferences. Since 2007, SEI has been offering Master Trust solutions to clients who wish to entirely outsource their DC pension provisionfor employees. In 2021, SEI acquired the Atlas Master Trust and established itself as a significant market presence with over a hundred thousand members, and assets in the region of £2bn.We are seeking an individual to take primary responsibility for leading the development of our Master Trusts investment credentials. The successful candidate will build on the Master Trusts enviable position as a leading investment-focused master trustsolution.This will be a prominent role and the chance to join an ambitious company with serious growth objectives for its Master Trust. You will bring your thought leadership to the Master Trusts investment content and portfolio design. With support from yourDC team colleagues, Institutional Advisory team and SEIs Investment Management Unit, you will take responsibility for the continuous development of our DC investment approach.As a result you will lead an investment solution that stands out from the master trust market, and is recognised by existing and prospective clients and their advisers as remarkable, innovative and adding meaningful value to members retirement outcomes.What you will do:

• Assume ownership for the design and evolution of our primary default and alternative investment options, our customised solutions, and comprehensive range of self-select options
• Be our investment innovator and thought leader, presenting at conferences and seminars and creating white papers and content that will engage and support our market activities
• Working with the sales team, engage with consultants and third party evaluators, articulating what makes SEI different and challenging the status quo
• Provide investment related messaging for RFPs and take a prominent role in new business pitches to make sure the power of our investment message gets through
• Take a leading role in advising the Trustee and Investment Sub Committee on investment matters, including its Statement of Investment Principles and TCFD reporting
• Take responsibility for the implementation of legislative initiatives and the consideration of new and emerging industry investment themes
• Support the client team to help develop and deliver meaningful and engaging client investment reporting
• Represent the DC Team and the Trustees interests as a key member of SEIs Sustainable Investing Committee
• All SIEL employees are responsible for the identification, assessment and control of risks and risk events. Employees will maintain a good understanding of applicable policies, procedures, risk appetites and tolerance relevant to their function and orbusiness unit, and are expected to consider current and potential risks when making or informing business decisions. Employees are responsible for the accurate and timely escalation and recording of incidents associated to relevant risks. In addition, employeesare responsible for completing all required Risk Management training.

• Contribute to our Master Trust growth agenda, with active participation in our sales and consultant relationship activities
• Have the self-assurance and ambition to succeed with the full support of the DC Team behind you, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes
• Demonstrate and maintain a strong knowledge of relevant UK Pension and Investment Regulations
• To hold an applicable industry qualification such as IMC / CFA / FIA or possess a commitment to complete such a qualification

What we would like from you:

• You will be a well-regarded DC investment professional, currently working in a consultancy, for a Master Trust or at an Investment Manager
• You will be looking to make your mark on the master trust market, but have a passion and wider interest in investment related public policy and opinion
• Experience of collaborating with and supporting a wider multi-disciplined team
• Good understanding of Master Trust market and experience of working with/for Investment Consultants
