D ata Warehouse Consultant - Snowflake London / Remote (95%)£60,000 - £70,000 - Plus exceptional bonus scheme for high earning potential Do you have recent Snowflake Development experience Would you be excited to work for a Data & Analytics Consultancy who are in Hyper Growth phase I am recruiting for an exceptionally talented team who work with the latest cloud technology alongside Snowflake including Looker, DBT, Fivetran and Matillion. A little more about the companyThey partner with businesses to evaluate, develop, and deploy end-to-end data solutions across Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Warehousing, Data Science, ETL/ELT and more.The roleA key role within the business, the Data Warehouse Consultant who will support our customer-facing teams with insights gained from developing bespoke data warehousing and engineering solutions. The primary focus of this role will be the development of a Snowflake data warehouse environment.You will be adept at working with large data sets to develop advanced, scalable DW solutions to serve reporting, BI, data science teams and more. Absolute SQL experts only.What they are looking forYou will have strong experience using a variety of data architecture/data modelling methods, including Snowflake and will experience of building and implementing models and bespoke solutions for their interesting clients they partner with.Key Skills - Mandatory: * Snowflake experience is essential for this role due to the nature of the projects you will be working on * Data architecture and modelling experience to the highest level and standard (hub and spoke, SCDs, clustering, PDTs, materialized views etc) * Performance tuning - a deep understanding of query and table performance and how to resolve non performing model/query issues in Snowflake * Data Warehouse Design - a demonstrable deep and broad understanding of best practices, common issues and solves, and methods especially in relation to AWS and Snowflake products * An ability to tell a great story from a range of data such as Search, Digital Analytics, Social Media and market research tools by creating a best in class data warehouse * Highly advanced SQL a must * AGILE working and sprint planning Additional Skills: * Looker modelling/LookML * Training business users * Knowledge of Azure/AWS/GCP an advantage * Experience with one or more of the leading BI tools – Power BI, Qlik, Google Data Studio an advantage They are looking to hire from January so interviews will be arranged ASAP.Please only apply if you have the right to work in the UK currently.
