Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer** Martech Start Up **SALARY-£50k - £65k & equityLOCATION- Remote to begin with, then Central LondonFollowing steady growth over the last 5 years, this martech start up are looking to expand their growing Tech Team.Their digital advertising optimisation product, sees them partnering with large organisations, tech providers and other agencies to deliver AI and machine learning optimised advertising performance and engagement; looking in detail at customer behaviour, engagement and conversion.We are looking for a bit of a hybrid, someone who can easily go between the data science and software engineering team, with skills in both camps. This is essentially an R&D role, where you can flex your creative side in solving real world product problems and adding value through actionable insights and recommendations. You will take the lead on greenfield research projects employing a range of techniques including NLP (Natural language Processing) and Computer Vision (especially video analysis), as well as deploying production ready machine learning pipelines.You will be joining a cross functional tech team of Data Scientists, Engineers and Software Developers, which they plan to expand over next year, so there is plenty of room for growth and development.Working closely with the CTO, you will deliver data science solutions and services for their digital advertising optimisation product. They use every bit of available relevant data from their clients to help predict which ads will or won’t do well to enable commercially valuable forecasting and audience insight.Experience across specialisms such as NLP, sentiment analysis, text mining and AI is required as well as very strong coding and programming skills in machine learning (using Python).
