Job Description

DATA QUALITY MANAGERLondon - Hybrid£60,000 - 70,000THE COMPANY: A medical association is looking for a skilled Data Quality Manager as they embark on a digital transformation over the next 24 months. The role will work closely with the Data Governance Consultant to map data assets, ensure data is compliant with GDPRand provide this analysis to key stakeholders.The company primarily supports medical staff during issues with medical malpractice and other advisory solutions. They are looking to pursue an insurance model so will need their data assets to be compliant with GDPR and other regulatory principles.THE ROLE:Within this role, you will be responsible for conducting exploratory analysis on the current data assets hosted on-prem. You will be involved in data mapping, documentation, and eventually providing analytics in Power BI on data quality. The wider groupis undergoing a large data migration project to Azure so they will also be looking for someone who is interested in providing data quality analytics for a large solution.You will:

  • Map and document data assets
  • Work in conjunction with a Data Governance Consultant to ensure data is compliant with GDPR
  • Query and test datasets using SQL to ensure data is fit for analytics
  • Develop use cases regarding data quality
  • Provide descriptive and perspective analytics solutions on the quality of data assets
REQUIREMENTS:You will require a strong analytical background and have made the transition into Data Governance/ Data Quality. You will require:
  • SQL
  • Power BI. Tableau or Microstrategy
  • Strong knowledge of Data Quality and Data Governance principles - MDM, Data mapping, data cataloging,
  • Commercial experience in a Data Quality role
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
  • Strong project management experience
  • A background in a regulatory environment (retail, financial services, insurance, pharmaceutical, etc) is essential for the role.
