Position: UK GDPR/Data Protection SolicitorLocation: Central LondonSalary: To be discussed but is usually around £75,000 to £85,000The FirmOur client is a distinguished firm of solicitors with 45 partners and approximately 200 staff members. They specialise in providing exceptional legal services to private and commercial clients. Our client is renowned for its expertise in family and privateclient work and is highly regarded for delivering specialist services at the highest level. Additionally, they have earned an excellent reputation in various other areas of law, as recognised by both Chambers and Legal 500.As a corporate data protection solicitor, your responsibilities will include:- Working independently under the supervision of a Partner in the Employment Department.- Review, draft, and advise on a wide range of privacy documents.- Prepare data sharing agreements and conduct assessments.- Provide guidance on breaches and ensure compliance with international data transfer regulations.- Conduct due diligence on UK GDPR compliance in corporate transactions.- Review supplier terms and conditions for compliance.Essential Skills and Experience- 3-5 years PQE solicitor and at least 2 years’ experience advising on UK GDPR/data protection - Strong understanding and interest in data protection/privacy legal and practical issues - Analytical skills and attention to detail - Strong written communication skills - Self-motivated, highly organised, and IT proficient - Flexibility, dedication, and ambition - Practical, commercial approach - Ability to work under pressure and engage effectively with stakeholders - Quick grasp of complex issues and application of legal knowledge to client requirements Remuneration Package- Salary: To be discussed but is usually around £75,000 to £85,000- Other Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including life assurance, medical insurance, dental care, pension scheme, bonus scheme, season ticket loan, cycle to work scheme, holiday purchase, wellbeing programme, gym membership, and 25 days holiday.If you are ready to take on this challenging role and propel your career to new heights, please submit your CV to.*Please check your email (including spam folder) for confirmation that your application has been received. *In accordance with The Conduct of Agencies and Businesses Regulations Act of 2003Required skills
