A large wellestablished organisation is looking for a proven Data Protection Officer with a passion for data privacy & governance. This is a hybrid role: working between home approximately 3 days per week, and from their City, London office. This will initiallybe a 9-month fixed term contract covering maternity leave.Reporting into the Data Protection Officer, the successful candidate will be the visible professional face of data protection for the organisation. The role will also involve embedding data protection by design and default into all activities including providingsolutions-focused data protection subject matter expertise, evaluating and understanding data protection risk on projects, ensuring PIA / DPIA identify and minimise data protection risks, managing risks, creating accurate & timely data protection dashboardsas well identifying gaps in existing data protection policies.In order to be suitable for this role you must havesignificant experience as a Data Protection Professional, GDPR Officer, Compliance Specialist or similar data protection role in a fast-paced environment championing data privacy. It is essential to havein depth knowledge of data protection legislation & process as well as strong experience managing PIA / DPIA processes. The ideal candidate will also have a privacy qualification (PDP, ISACA CDPSE, IAPP, CIPP/E), although this is not essential.This is a business-critical role in a large reputable business that is looking to transform the way customers interact and established themselves as an ethical data-driven organisation. This Data Protection Officer / Partner role is paying a basic salaryup to £60,000 plus benefits including a generous non-contributory pension, 25 days holiday, Employee Assistance Programme, Gym, Private medical insurance, Critical Illness Cover and Life assurance cover.
