The memcom recruitment team are looking for DPIA Project Officer on behalf of professional body based in Central London.The Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) Project Officer will take responsibility for managing the DPIA process from registration through sign-off on current and pipeline strategic projects, as well as reviewing and developing the procedures, register, templates and guidance, etc., pertaining to DPIA.You will lead on providing information governance advice, standard operating procedures and staff training, and deliver the data protection/records management recommendations as agreed.The successful candidate will have a professional qualification in information or record management, as well as a recognised qualification in Data Protection and current, up-to-date membership of a recognised professional body in information/records managementYou will need have demonstrable experience of delivering DPIAs through to delivery of agreed recommendations and handling rejected recommendations, significant experience of managing and delivering projects to time and the ability to prioritise and schedule your own workload.Initially offered on a 3-month contract, with an immediate start, this role has the potential to go permanent in due course.
