Job Description

Data Products Training Officer - Trade Association - Central London - up to £30,000 + benefitsWe are looking for a Data Products Training Officer, with good MS Access and reporting skills,to join a large trade association that supports and promotes their UK industry both nationally and globally.As the Data Products Training Officer, you will organise and deliver all training courses for data products and services, which may require occasional travel to clients/stakeholders sites. Continuously improving training provisions, youwill review the content of training courses and monitor poor usage by stakeholders, delivering action plans to resolve any issues.About you:You will be a confident people-person with the ability to provide training, devise new and improved training courses and develop training guides for data products and services.You will be proficient in using MS Office including MS Access and other database packages; youll love reporting and so will have strong knowledge of report creation using Report Builder (SSRS) and youll have the ability to build good working relationshipswith clients.Key responsibilities as the Data Products Training Officer will include:

  • Organising and delivering all training courses for data products and services
  • Attending client/stakeholder sites to deliver training courses, if needed
  • Continuously improving training provision utilising lates techniques, methodologies and technology
  • Continuously reviewing the content of training courses to deliver improvements, monitoring poor usage by stakeholders and delivering action plans to resolve issues
  • Revising programmes to meet any system changes or statutory requirements
  • Creating and maintaining all documentation used for training and ensuring changes are included and available to end users
  • Ensuring all new users are appraised of the security requirements
  • Responding to individual requests for assistance related to knowledge gaps
  • Approve new user accounts an be primarily responsible for password resets for products
  • Assisting with identifying and implementing continuous process improvements
  • Providing assistance to reporting users in the absence of the Reporting Analyst

What were looking for:
  • Previous experience in a similar Data Products Training position
  • Experience devising and providing training courses and developing training guides
  • Proficient user of MS Office including MS Access (or other database packages)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of report creation using Report Builder (SSRS)
  • Appreciation of databases and reporting systems and an understanding of how different techniques can be used to interrogate and extract data
  • Strong communication skills with excellent written and spoken English
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with clients, stakeholders and service providers
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of commercially sensitive and personal data
