Job Description

Data Migration LeadData Migration Lead / Data Migration Lead / Cutover Manager - Data Migration, Cutover - Large scale IT change programme6-month contract - London client with flexible remote working optionsUp to £1000p/d outsideAre you an experienced Data Migration Lead looking to assist in a complex global migration programmeA FTSE 100 company that operates in 170 markets are looking for an experienced Data Migration Lead to assist in the transformation of their current ATS.As a Data Migration Lead you will:

  • Accountable for all elements of data including
    • Identify data requirements and scope (including data that is critical for go-live)
    • Define data migration approach and plan, and manage delivery against it (including any trial loads + final Production data load)
    • Data cleanse - ensure pre-migration data cleanse activities are scoped, planned and executed
    • Data Transformation design - lead the specifications to define how source system data will be mapped to fields/values in the new system
    • Design, develop and test all data extracted, transformed and loaded (ETL); working with internal resources and 3rd party partners for various parts of the ETL process
    • Lead the reject and exception handling processes associated any ETL tools, and resolve exceptions as required with the Solution Design team
    • Obtain business approval that any data extracted, transformed and loaded is complete and accurate
    • Define approach and deliver solution for legacy data retention
  • Accountable for all elements of cutover including:
    • Detailed cutover planning and execution (technology & business activities)
    • Planning and managing any dress rehearsals/mock cutovers including aligning all tech and business resources required
    • Provide key inputs into final Go/No Go decision making based on status of cutover activities
The programme will deliver a new ATS (Applicant Tracking System), ensuring that this software runs smoothly on an international scale.The Data Migration Lead required will have worked on large scale complex IT change programmes in the past with Leadership capabilities and ability to engage with Senior Stakeholders Internationally. Data Migration and Cutover experience is essential.Data Migration Lead
