Job Description

My client are an exciting cloud based payments fintech who are looking to bring on a Data Mesh Engineer to build and enhance large-scale, real-time and batch data pipelines, processes and data management flows.Candidates should have:

  • Strong and demonstrable experience in Python and SQL.
  • Experience with big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc
  • Experience with data transformations frameworks - dbt, Spark core and Spark streaming
  • Experience on designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for data products.
  • Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases like CosmosDB, Elasticsearch, etc
  • Preferable experience with Azure Cloud services: AKS, ADLS, Databricks
  • Strong and demonstrable experience of programming and programming constructs
  • A strong understanding of data, data sets, and data processing.
  • Interested in building a world-class, fast-growing data platform and data pipelines in the cloud
  • Eager to learn new big data and cloud technologies and keep your skills up to date
  • A strong understanding of the building blocks of computing, algorithms, and distributed computing.
