Job Description

DATA ENGINEERING MANAGER London - Hybrid£85,000 - 100,000THE COMPANY: Harnham is in partnership with one of the worlds leading ESG companies to find a talented Data Engineering Manager. You will be responsible for engaging with stakeholders, and migrating data from SQL to Snowflake whilst leading a team of 7.THE ROLE:As the Data Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in moving the company to a single source of truth. They are looking to integrate all of their data into a Snowflake environment so end-users can interact with data more efficiently.You will:

  • Manage a team of 7 junior developers and analysts
  • Design and build out the Snowflake database
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote the use of data
  • Design data modelling frameworks
  • Have ownership of BI/ MI/ ETL tools
  • Support the development of ETL pipelines and data models.
REQUIREMENTS:To be a strong candidate for the role, you will need line management experience, experience design scalable solutions, and strong communication skills. You will need some of the following skills:
  • A strong STEM or analytical degree
  • Advanced SQL
  • Redshift/ BigQuery/ Snowflake
  • Python (advantageous)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good stakeholder management experience
  • Line management experience (essential)
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
  • A successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of up to £100,000 with a generous benefits package.
