Job Description

Data Engineer LeadArtificial Intelligence | Machine Learning | GCP | Big Data | Cloud | SQL | Data Modelling Are you a talented Data EngineerDo you have experience with SQL, NoSQL and Cloud ImplementationCan you see yourself working for a company rated as a great place to work by the Economic Times

  • £80,000-90,000
  • 15% Bonus paid annually
  • Central London office (and other offices across the globe)

    • The CompanyI am excited to be exclusively partnered with a leading artificial intelligence company that provide services in consumer packages goods, healthcare, life sciences, insurance, retail and technology and the financial sector.The Data Engineer Lead Role
  • Drive deployment / increase consumption of solutions (cloud data and analytics services - SQL Database, NoSQL databases, SQL Data Warehouse, Big Data processing, Machine Learning, and Stream Analytics)
  • Establish relationships with decision makers to resolve business problems within their companies
  • Lead mapping of business solutions to cloud based architecture & data technology solutions (take systems-wide view of customer solution data landscape)
  • Architect scalable data processing / analytics solutions. Including technical feasibility and development for Big Data storage, processing and consumption - (development of enterprise Data Lake strategy / heterogeneous data management / Polyglot Persistence / decision support / BI over Data Lake)
  • Design, coordinate and execute pilots, prototypes or proof of concepts, provide validation on specific scenarios
  • Provide subject matter expertise around technical infrastructure and applications
  • Define the case for solutions, design the solution to help prototype and develop the customers new environment, and guide the solution through launch to market
  • Demonstrate leadership in cloud computing across multiple channels and become a trusted advisor to decision makers
    • Required Experience
  • SQL/ noSQL
  • Data Modelling and Data Design
  • Must be able to write PL/SQL stored procedures
  • Experience designing Star, Snowflake Schemes, Dimensional Data Modelling, SCD and CDC
  • 7+ years of experience in technology consulting and cloud implementation experience, preferably in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) stack
    • Desirable
  • Media-Network Industry experience
  • Preferably an MBA or MS/M.Tech. degree in Computer Science or related field.
