Data Engineer / SQL / Azure / AWS / GCP / Data Integration / SSIS£70,000 plus bonus, plus benefitsHybrid / Remote - 1-2 days per week in City of London, Monument.A Data Engineer with at least 5 years of experience is required by global commercial insurance Broker to develop an effective data analytics and reporting architecture capable of meeting a wide range of needs.The role will involveDevelop the architecture, tools, procedures and methods employed in the operating environment in line with technical advances and business requirements* Assist in the design of the data warehouse, integrating data from various sources to deliver value to the business* Deal with complex data, source and target tables mappings, load process, transformation, reconciliation, error handling, physical and logical data dimensional modelling* Assist in the construction and optimisation of the cloud based data platform* Create solutions in response to data requirements (Data quality, Data mapping, Metadata management, Migration and Reporting solutions)* Ensure that developments are carried out in accordance with established Company IT procedures and standards. Participate in the establishment of development procedures and standards* Take responsibility for the support and maintenance of existing applications and systems as assigned* Participate in the process of selecting the solution most appropriate to the stated business requirements* Perform assigned responsibilities as delegated by more senior members of the department* Adhere to and meet fully the expectations, as set out in its policies and procedures, training material, and embedded in its systems and controls.
