Job Description

Data Engineer- LondonAre you passionate about Data Would you like to work on a variety of projects using cutting-edge technology Do you have 3+ years experience as a Data engineer This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a global consultancy that offers accelerated growth.My client looking for a talented, hands-on Data Engineer to join their team in London.The Role

  • Work as part of an Agile software delivery team
  • Within the public sector you will create, build, assess, and strengthen data and analytics software solutions, delivering key critical systems
  • Work directly with software architects and assisted by product managers, scrum masters and solutions architects
  • Work on the full range of software engineering principles
  • Share your ideas for innovation and process improvement and coaching and mentoringotherteam members
Skills and ExperienceMust have experience in the following technologies:
  • Data modelling (Data Warehouse, Marts)
  • Programming and scripting languages (PL/SQL, SQL, Unix, Java, Python, Hive, HiveQL, HDFS, Impala, etc)
  • Database (Oracle, RDS, Redshift, MySQL, Hadoop, Postgres, etc)
  • ETLtoolset (Talend, Pentaho, SAS DI, Informaticaetc)
  • Job Scheduling toolset (Job Scheduler, TWS, etc)
  • Experience of Agile Scrum based delivery
  • Awareness of devops culture and modern engineering practices
  • Enthusiasm, personal drive, and a willingness to learn
  • Cloud (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
