Job Description

Were seeking a talented Data Engineer to join an Investment Management firm in London and play a pivotal role in their journey of growth.   • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Python, SQL, and other relevant technologies.
  • Implement system integration solutions to connect data sources and systems effectively.
  • Lead data mapping efforts to ensure seamless integration and consistency across databases and platforms.
  • Oversee data migration projects, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and optimise data architecture and workflows.
  • Troubleshoot causes and provide solutions to data-related issues, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in data engineering processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in Python and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of system integration, data mapping, and data migration concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in designing and optimising relational databases.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
