Job Description

**Data Engineer** (Contract)Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for Extension)Location: Fully RemoteRate: A highly competitive Day rate is available for suitable candidatesOur high profile Insurance services client specialises in cyber insurance solutions. From their expert team to the proprietary data and technology, everything that has been designed is made to manage cyber risk.Were seeking an experienced Data Engineer who can fulfil a 6 month contract role on a fully remote basis and has the relevant skillset as detailed in the key points below.The successful candidate will be apart of the UK Subsidiary whilst also liaising with the wider US based team.Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience with Snowflake - both from an operational management perspective i.e. managing data access/roles/masking policies etc and also from a data analytics/SQL perspective
  • Strong experience with DBT for Data Transformations
  • AWS experience, in particular DMS, Glue, S3 & Athena
  • BI tooling e.g. Looker, Qlik & Quicksight
  • Data Modelling expertise, in particular experience in and around designing Data Warehouse and Data Mart schemas for integration of data from multiple sources
  • Demonstrable experience using Terraform in addition to Fivetran
  • Experience in terms of Agile working practices (Scrum/Sprints/JIRA etc)
