Data Engineer Salary: £82,000 + benefits Client offices: London / Leeds Remote working: Yes, primarily remote with willingness to travel to offices 1-2 days per month We are working with a leading Medical business who have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Data Engineer to join one of their multi-discipline teams. The company works closely with the NHS and Research partners providing patient and research data to enable to advancement of the treatment of disease. The Data engineering team has a huge impact on the success of these relationships and help researchers accessthe health data and technology they need to make new medical discoveries and create more effective, targeted medicines for everybody.Key Responsibilities:* Automating and optimising big data pipelines on structured, semi-structured and unstructured data* Continuous integration and deployment of end-to-end data delivery* Acquisition, ingestion, transformation, curation and productisation of data assets* Thought leadership and innovation for data delivery* Support the business to migrate to scalable architecture on cloud (AWS)Key Skills / Experience:* Experience within similar Data Engineering role with strong technical skills and experience within Python, SQL * AWS (AWS S3 & Athena, DynamoDB, RDS, Aurora / Postgres) preferred * Experience with tooling for data manipulation in programming languages* Advanced ETL* Strong programming skills against cloud-based pipelines* Able to work with stakeholders to a senior level * Experience of data modelling and developing/reverse-engineering data assets* Healthcare / clinical data / medical experience helpful but not essential * Any experience with CI/CD / Jenkins / AWS Lambda / Docker an advantage Contact David Southwood - CPS Group UK By applying to this advert you are giving CPS Group (UK) Ltd authority to hold and process your data for this specific role and any other roles we may deem suitable to you over time.
