We seek an outstanding and innovative Data Assistant on a permanent basis (and flexible working considered). As the Data Assistant you would provide a range of administrative and practical support to the Data Manager. To conclude, we need someone who is passionate about making a difference, please get in touchMain Responsibilities - To Support the Data Manager to: Maintain continuity of all student related information including; Timetables, allocation of classes, Carousels, Class Lists, Options Groups, End of Year Process and Creation of new Academic Year. Collection, organisation, input, presentation and distribution of data relating to student attainment and progress; internal and public examinations, behaviour & attendance data, free school meal information, reading age data. Assist in the maintenance, development and review of the Academys data use and Management Information Systems, undertaking training where necessary to keep the schools systems up to date and to identify the most effective use of relevant modules. Keep the assessment, attendance and behaviour databases up-to-date. Produce weekly attendance, behaviour, engagement and exclusions reports.Working for usWalthamstow Academy opened its impressive new building in 2006 and since then we have achieved excellent results both at GCSE and at A Level. In 2019, Walthamstow Academy students achieved a Progress 8 score of 0.4). At A-Level, our students achieve excellently with many of them progressing to Russell Group institutions. Standards across the Academy are above national averages in most subjects.The Academy is located close to the North Circular Road, M11 and both Blackhorse Road and Walthamstow Central underground stations from where it takes about half an hour to get into central London.
