Job Description

DATA ANALYST/SENIOR DATA ANALYSTUP TO £85,000 + BENEFITSLONDON (HYBRID)OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team headed up by a leader in the Data Science space. You will be using cutting-edge technology and have lots of scope to take the role where you want it to go.The roleYou will be responsible for:

  • Drive clarity and solve ambiguous, challenging business problems using data-driven approaches
  • Propose and own data analysis (including modelling, coding, analytics, and A/B experimentation) to drive business insight, presenting actionable insights to facilitate decisions
  • Identify data, metrics and analyses needs for business partners
  • Measure business performance, develop core metrics and create dashboards to track and understand them
  • Assist with target setting and monitoring
  • Participate in code and design reviews
  • Assist with developing and maintaining data pipelines and data models that power dashboards
  • Work across multiple subject matter specialists to drive new data initiatives, automation of reports, and establish best practices
The experienceYou dont have to tick all of the following boxes but wed love to hear from you if you have any of the following experience:
  • Bachelors degree or above, majoring in a STEM subject, or engaged in data statistics, analysis, modelling related working areas after graduation
  • 2+ years of working experience in data analysis within the tech industry
  • Proficient in SQL and familiar with Python for data analysis
  • Proficient with reporting and dashboarding platforms
  • Statistical modelling experience - including logistic regression, time-series, clustering, decision trees, linear regression, classification
  • Have a strong ability to work under pressure, have the courage to overcome difficulties, and accept challenges
  • Familiarity with Shopify data, Google Analytics, and experimentation platforms a plus
