Job Description

Job Title: Data Analyst/ Data EngineerLondon - Remote - FlexibleSalary - £40,000-50,000We are currently recruiting for an international consultancy firm who specialise in improving business relationships. They are looking for a passionate data specialist who will expand their Business Intelligence reporting and visualisation. This is an opportunityto have autonomy and ownership in a semi-greenfield project while having active exposure to media and advertising clients.THE COMPANY:Our client has a global presence in the marketing and advertising sector, specifically focusing on enhancing client and consumer relationships. The consultancy focuses on providing data-driven strategies to its clients to enhance their business relationshipsand opportunities. They are recruiting for a Data Analyst/ Data Engineer who can ameliorate their Business Intelligence approach.THE ROLE: Our client is looking for a Data Analyst/ Data Engineer who will improve their reporting function, actively contributing to the visualisation and utilization of data. They want someone who is passionate about data-driven solutions and able to work autonomouslyon cross-departmental projects.In this role you will:

  • Work alongside the Business Intelligence team to improve both BI strategy and insight delivery
  • Develop internal reports using Tableau
  • Support non-technical departments with their data requests
  • Support the consultancy team with delivering insights to key stakeholders
  • Ensure high-data quality
  • Ensure data legislation is complied with
  • Producing impromptu reports for internal teams
  • Have an active role in the development and maintenance of an internal (SQL) data warehouse.
REQUIREMENTS:To qualify for the job role, you will require:
  • A statistical or analytical degree (Maths, Computer Science, Data Science, etc)
  • 5+ years of practical experience querying and manipulating data using SQL and Excel
  • Demonstrable experience using Tableau to develop interactive dashboards
  • Demonstrable experience using Python, PHP, or JavaScript
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to train non-technical users
Salary and benefits A successful candidate will receive:
