What will you be doing Developing sustainable and re-useable Data Analytics that assesses and/ or improves the control environment Building Data Analytics to improve the scope and coverage of control testing Providing training to the Operational Rigour Assurance team on how to identify Data Analytics and develop and execute basic analytics Maintaining a library of re-usable Data Analytics for risk and control assessments Maintaining appropriate documentation of code and creating data dictionary including definitions (where appropriate) Developing scripts for outcome based assurance testing Building and maintaining dashboards and common data sets regularly required by Operational Rigour teams Developing a Data Analytics governance framework What were looking for: Extensive practical experience in identifying, designing and delivering Data Analytics in a controls setting Audit, Assurance or Control testing experience High proficiency in MS Excel, SQL coding and working with large multiple data sources Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively Skills that will help you in the role: Relevant experience with R, Python or Data warehouse Experience with advanced analytics, including Text Analysis and Machine Learning Financial services industry knowledge Experience delivering Data Analytics training Where will you be working Weve been in Scotland for 250 years, and our significance has never been as important as it is today.
