Job Description

Our client, a global music company, is seeking a Dance Marketing Assistant to work across a roster of international and domestic dance music artists.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the Head of Marketing and Campaign Manager with the operational management of UK and international dance music.
  • Coordinating with the Head of Marketing regarding marketing plans, timelines, content development and roll out.
  • Developing creative briefs and commissioning content, artwork, and videos.
  • Working with artists and artist managers to agree creative and strategy.
  • Planning and executing paid media campaigns.
  • Scheduling and initiating physical and digital products with production.
  • Working to manage budgets on active campaigns.
  • Supporting with digital campaign strategy, audience insight and development strategy for each artist on the roster.
  • Ensuring that influencer, tastemaker, and lifestyle marketing are integrated into all digital campaigns.
  • Executing promotional activations across social media platforms, publishers, and tastemakers.
  • Providing oversight for artists digital touch points across briefs, builds, and maintenance.
  • Working to source, brief, and oversee external social media agencies.
  • Providing occasional social media reporting.
  • Integrating CRM and data capture across all artist campaigns and release cycles.
  • Assisting with TV and Radio ads and clearing videos.
  • Ordering POS marketing materials as needed.
  • Sourcing venues for Artist and level showcases, events, parties.
  • Coordinating live marketing experiences such as pop-up shows, gallery exhibitions, and guerrilla events for the label and artists.
  • Handling general administration, budgeting, invoicing, travel, couriers, ticket ordering etc.
Requirements:
  • Thorough knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube essential.
  • Possess authoritative knowledge of dance music.
  • Previous marketing experience within a record label.
  • Solid understanding of marketing processes.
  • IT competency to cover Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to learn quickly.
  • Able to work calmly under pressure.
  • Efficient time management skills.
