You will advise our clients on how to identify information assets, organize lines of defence, analyze security threats, design and implementpolicies, transform security consciousness, assess cyber resilience and maturity, and estimate risk. The responsibilities of this role include:Working in expert consulting teams on select Cybersecurity and IT Risk Management topicsPerforming specific analyses derive and deploy state-of-the-art strategic security concepts and put them into the clients business contextCollaboration and engagement with the client organization on management as well as operational levelsEnabling the client to embrace your resultsand their applicability, taking an active role in presenting key findings to C-level executivesOverall contribution to the development of Cybersecurity and IT Risk Management intellectual capital for publication and/or internal BCG use (e.g. emerging securitytrends industries)It takes more than technology to reach this destination. We are seeking people who can challenge old assumptions, organize functions with a digital mindset, create new ways of working to support that, and change the way people think, work,and lead.As an Expert Consultant, you will apply your deep expertise to generate value for our clients while building and contributing to BCGs intellectual capital. You will serve as a pivotal member of client facing project teams, working with and learningfrom leaders across disciplines from BCG and our clients.You will leverage your expertise to add insight and drive clients toward recommendations and you will be viewed as a trusted advisor by senior clients. Experts contribute significantly to BCGs intellectualcapital, generate interest and excitement about their expertise area, and coach and mentor others.What Youll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)You would typically have 3+ years of functional or consulting experience in delivering value to internal or externalcustomers and clients, for example as a member of the Cybersecurity department of a major company or as a specialist cyber security consultant. You would typically have experience in the following areas:Defining security strategies/visionsDevising, implementingand operating business-driven Cybersecurity management concepts, solutions and policies/procedures - covering the technical, governance, organization and people aspectsSupporting evolving security needs in the wake of the digitization of industries, valuechains and businessesEstablishing or strengthening security and risk management organizations, platforms or ecosystemsCybersecurity topic domains such as cyber risk quantification, cloud security, security in Agile/DevSecOps, IoT/OT security, or ZeroTrustEducationand QualificationsAdvanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Physics, or Systems engineering preferredStrong academic track record from top-tier institutionsSecurity related qualifications,certifications, or clearances would be of added benefit (e.g. CISSP, CISA, ISO27001 Lead auditor/implementer, CISM, CRISC, CEH, ITIL)Who Youll Work WithExpert Career Track consultants are vital to BCGs ability to successfully meet our clients demand fordeep expertise and advanced technical capabilities.
