Job Description

This is a great opportunity for a Cyber Security Project Manager to join a fast paced, entrepreneurial, fast growing, exciting cyber-security organisation in London, UK.Whilst lockdown rules are in force this will be a work-from-home position.About Us - Redscan Cyber SecurityRedscan’s ThreatDetect provides tailored managed detection response services to our customers. It combines our own award-winning technology with the industry’s best-in-class solutions and the right team to maintain our position at the forefront of cyber security.As a priority we are looking for a project manager to increase efficiencies, manage costs, and help our clients succeed.The Role - Cyber Security Project ManagerThe Cyber Security Project Manager is expected to be an outgoing team player with drive, passion, enthusiasm and positivity – someone inherently driven and fascinated by Cyber Security. You will understand the value of providing outstanding customer service and effectively balance the needs of a Cyber Security service delivery business with the operational needs of our clients. Working proactively with autonomy and under pressure, you will be expected to work to proactively deliver against individual and team KPI’s.The Cyber Security Project Manager provides structure, governance and process, reporting on progress, key issues and risks to enable critical decisions and actions to be taken in a timely manner.Responsibilities

  • As the project manager, you will be responsible for project planning the onboarding of new clients to our CyberOps platform and the technologies they’ve purchased, then drive the execution of this effort to completion promptly, so clients can receive return on their investment as quickly as possible.
  • Manage project progress to the key stakeholders, including any potential risks, delays and concerns – ensuring they are accounted for and that an appropriate process is in place and followed.
  • Ensure that projects are consistent with broader programme objectives and timelines by close and early engagement with stakeholders to understand key delivery dependencies.
  • Develop trust with all stakeholders to achieve project goals, utilising negotiation and conflict management skills for a seamless and smooth process.
  • Make recommendations aligned to best practices to deliver against broader internal and external business challenges.
  • Lead projects utilising internal and external teams, any additional resource requirements, managing risk and complexity both directly and via external project leads.
  • Identify innovative solutions to resolve complex issues, and lead by example.
  • Persuasive personal communication style – someone who can understand multiple complex issues and perspectives and who can influence others in a positive manner to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop solid and broad understand of our technologies and value proposition.
  • Able to quickly learn and understand the technology and services we provide and become proficient in the onboarding process.
  • 2+ years professional services experience required.
  • 4+ years waterfall project management experience required.
  • 4+ years Cyber Security project management experience required.
  • Travel to Nottingham for training required and periodically on as-needed bases.
