Job Description

Description:Typical Day in the RoleActs as the final point of escalation and resolution for advanced technical support for highly complex products, highly escalated issues pertaining to confidential security, highly technical or network/system issues. Provides advanced technical support todiverse audiences including highly technical IT professionals, developers, architects, and executive management. Provides support via telephone, written correspondence, and electronic media. Acts as technical lead with no supervision and may provide technicaltraining, coaching, and mentoring to other engineers. May provide consulting to internal or external customers. May research technical documents, feature lists and collaborate directly with product development teams to deploy new technologies or automation.Candidate Requirements• Responsible for the customer support experience.• Own, troubleshoot and solve customer technical issues, using collaboration, troubleshooting best practices and transparency within and across teams (e.g. swarming)• Identify cases that require escalation (either technically or strategically)• Create and maintain incident management requests to product group/engineering group.• Contribute to case deflection initiatives, automation, and other digital self-help assets to improve customer/ engineer experience.• Provide ramp activities, knowledge sharing, technical coaching, and mentoring.• Drive technical collaboration & engagement outside of CSS (Product Engineering teams/Services/Support/Regions)• Lead or participate in building communities with peer delivery roles; may be workload or specialty specific.They are looking for two types of profiles to join this team or someone who has a combination of:Profile 1:Linux administration in an enterprise environment:• Intermediate skills:o Familiarity with Linux OS internals concepts (e.g.: systemd, file and directory permissions, etc.)o Familiarity with shell environments (e.g.: bash, ksh, etc.)o Familiarity with bash or python scripting languages.o Familiarity with Linux performance troubleshooting tools (e.g.: top, ps)• Strong skills:o Experience with Linux OS internals concepts (e.g.: systemd, auditd, file and directory permissions, ACLs, etc.)o Experience with one, or more, shell environments (bash, sh, tcsh, ksh, etc.)o Experience with Linux script-based development environments and tools (e.g.: bash, python)o Experience administering Linux (auditd, kernel modules, file systems, performance troubleshooting, etc)o Experience with core OS services such as: NFS, DNS, etc.Profile 2:Enterprise Cybersecurity:• Experience with deploying, administering and / or supporting Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), and Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP) endpoint security solutions.• Or Network Security Engineering or consulting, and/or Systems Administration security. This should include experience with endpoint security, server security and threat analytics.• Customer facing support experience.• Experience on Windows Server, Windows Client, Active Directory and/or Azure Active Directory administration.• Enterprisecloudexperiencewith any of the major cloud providers, including cloud security, networking, and migration of multi-cloud or hybrid deployments.• Experience supporting large and complex geographically distributed enterprise environments with 1000+ users.• Some experience in Automation in PowerShell and/or Python, Java, or a similar language.Skills:
