Job Description

To be successful in this Customer Service and Logistics role you must be able challenge the status quo with confidence, think strategically and discover ways to improve service.Managing a team of three supply chain and logistics executive you will ensure best in class customer service is given from order processing to dispatch. As a key person in the business will act as an advisory and escalation point for both internal and externalstakeholders.This is a challenging role requiring the person to keep customers at the heart of everything, offering an uncompromised service, whilst balancing the global complexities and efficiencies around operations, warehousing, shipping, documentation, tax and duties.Responsibilities:

  • Introducing and monitoring KPIs, and performance of Logistics Service Providers, conducting regular reviews and ensuring they are adhered to.
  • Negotiate new contracts / KPIs / costs with new and existing 3PLs.
  • Management of CS to our distributors and retailers, defining a proper lead time/standard to manage the process from order reception to ready for collection/shipment.
  • Lead, manage, and oversee three supply chain and logistic executives.
  • Reporting on all stock availability and liaising constantly with all internal/external customers to ensure they are kept abreast.
  • Obtaining the best market prices and services for inbound and outbound truck, sea and air freight, and duty/Tax.
  • Tackling current and future logistic and shipping complexities throughout the business advising and implementing solutions for these and managing costs.
  • Creating and implementing strong processes, policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Analysing costs and ways of working, presenting insights on what adverse drivers exist, and presenting potential solutions/improvements that can be made.
  • Liaising with the finance team to ensure all costs are controlled.
Skills:
  • Several years experience managing 3rd party warehousing and logistics preferably in the perfume/cosmetics industry.
  • Experience using supply chain management software and tools, including SAP.
  • Excellent problem solving and evaluation skills, with the ability to demonstrate critical analysis and make recommendations.
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Tenacious and resilient self-starter who can think outside the box.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, and able in handling a diverse and varied workload, often under demanding timescales.
  • Knowledge of French and/or Italian is a plus.
