Customer Insight Analytics ManagerFast Fashion BrandSalary: £70k - £75k plus bonusLocation: Manchester OR London (2 days in office)You will be joining a team of Analytical experts, led by an impressive Analytics Leader (significant retail and management consultancy experience) established to deliver a variety of analysis projects to a number of brands.You will manage a team of 3 direct reports, and work alongside 3 other managers who cover Customer & Marketing Analytics, Ops & Customer Service and Data Engineering - they also has plans to bring AI heavily into the mix soon.This role will provide analytics and insights around product performance - as in all the cutting edge stylish products this brand offer to the UK market, across a number of categories. Therefore we need people with a strong commercial mindset, ability tointeract with a number of different departments who need to be on the end of up to date information about which products need a push, or promotion that week, which are performing better than others and why, as well as running constant A/B testing to improveoverall site and web performance from a product perspective. Due to the unique nature of retail, its key you have experience of working with buying and merchandising teams, in order to understand how the reports need to be structured and how this informationwill drive improved trade activity.Technically they operate a GCP environment working with tools such as Google Big Query, Tableau and Qlikview, as well as R and Python for more advanced machine learning work - which does form part of the day to day.So a great chance to join this goliath fashion retailer, on a steep upwards growth trajectory and deliver real world impact to commercial performance.Skills requiredEducated to degree level or higher in a numerate subject; Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Operational Research, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering or Computer Science).An advanced user of SQL and Python OR RExposure to data visualisation tools and building out engaging dashboards using PowerBI, Qlik, Looker, Tableau or similarExperienced in mining large and complex customer data sets - both structured and unstructuredExperience of employing both simple and complex statistical and data science techniques (e.g. forecasting, regression, clustering etc) to solve business problems and answer business questions.A background in customer or marketing analytics is essential, ideally around customer journies.Experience within a retail environment is highly desirable.Experience in running testing and measurement processes in digital environment also desirable.
