Job Description

Customer Education Specialist Location: London (WFH for now, then full-time in London)Length: 6 monthsRate: £36-£39p/h (c.£74,000 – £81,000 p/a)Hours: 9am-6pm (40 p/w)What youll needWorking for one of the Big 4 Tech companies on a PAYE contract role, we re looking for an experienced Customer Education Specialist to join their Customer Education Team. Youll work cross-functionally with all of Customer Success, Sales, Support, Marketing, and Product to create and update engaging training content for customers and prospects: e-learning (SCORM) classes, tutorial videos, and live, virtual sessions.

  • Youll primarily be building content to support the launch of new features and also updating older content to incorporate new functionality in one of their leading products.
  • Youll also be evangelisingour content both internally to employees and externally to our partners, prospects, and customers.
  • Experience building SCORM-based e-learning classes in Articulate Storyline, Adapt, Evolve, or similar publishing tool
  • Familiarity with LMS administration, ideally the Exceed platform
  • Ability to create short, engaging tutorial videos, ideally in Camtasia
  • A love of live, virtual training facilitation and the ability to be both engaging and interactive
  • The ability to quickly shift between project management and on-the-ground content creation
  • A strong sense of what it takes to enable non-technical learners on software and business process
  • Strong Preferences (But not Required):
  • A dedicated generalist who is as comfortable teaching virtually as they are building asynchronous content
  • Passionate about breaking the mould on training: someone who is constantly looking to try new things
  • Familiar with the tools of the trade: video editing, SCORM-based content creation, LMSs, and virtual classroom platforms
  • A lover of cross-functional work who proactively looks to solve problems
  • Have a background in test prep or acting
  • Are familiar with training programs aimed at improving user adoption
  • Have design or animation experience
