Job Description

Customer and Product Data Quality Lead - London or Manchester - HybridRole: Customer and Product Data Quality LeadLocation: London or Manchester (Hybrid)**UK based applicants onlyThey are a leading bank within the financial services who have gone from strength to strength and are one of the top ranked banks for customer service and satisfaction.Our financial services client are looking for a Customer and Product Data Quality Lead to help them with their transformation journey, where optimising the use of their data assets to deliver their business strategy is a key area.The role will be focused on how we capture and use Customer and Product data in the bank. In particular focusing on regulatory requirements to support TCF and Customer Duty, whilst also including 360 view of Customer and Customer experience initiatives.This role would suit someone with a solid data background, having led data quality and/or data governance teams, developing and embedding frameworks and principles to enable measurement and prioritisation of data quality initiatives. An understanding ofdifferent data structures, hierarchies and ability to simplify for appropriate audiences and stakeholders.Required Experience:

  • Experience working in data quality, data governance or data management within Financial Services.
  • Demonstrate proficiency using Excel and ideally SQL experience to source, analyse, normalise and process data for quality validations
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of master data elements and processes
  • Experience and/or knowledge of data quality and lineage tools: Collibra, Informatica, IBM MDM etc.
  • Experience creating and using data models and data definitions
  • Experience of resolving data quality issues and data governance in the financial services industry
  • Bachelors degree (in computer science, information technology or engineering) or equivalent experience and/or data quality certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to analyse, articulate and present complex issues clearly and concisely
  • Ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels and represent Handelsbanken effectively
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with impact with people at all levels
  • Integrity and discretion
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Attention to detail and an organised approach to work
